Ans: No, this is not recommended as it will affect the normal functioning of the food warmer.
Q3: Is the food container leak-proof?
Ans: Yes but in case you should find it leaking , it is probably due to improper screwing only.
Q4: Can I heat food from frozen with the ec-heat?
Ans: No. Users should always cook and heat up the food throughly before placing it in the food container instantly, then close the lids and connect the food warmer to the power source.

Ans: Food grade PP, which has passed both USA FDA and EU food contact tests.

Q7: Is it difficult to clean ?
Ans: No. The main unit of ec-heat has a coating to prevent dirt. It can be wiped with a wet cloth, but water should always be avoided from getting into the USB-power input. The lids and food container can be hand-washed. The food container is also dishwasher safe.
Q8: Can it be shipped to Mainland China?
Ans: At the moment, we are not able to ship the product to China, but it can be shipped to Macau.

Ans: It’s 550ml, which can hold two bowls of rice at least.
Q12: Is there any specific requirement for the battery of the ec-heat?
Ans: Any standard one with output power being 5V and 2A will do. There is no special requirement for battery’s capacity but it will only affect the duration of the operating time for the food warmer. If the ec-heat keeps the temperature at >60°C for 6 hours, a battery with at least 10,000mAh capacity should be used.
Q13: Does the company sell any container which separates rice and meat/veggies?
Ans: At present, we do not sell any container for such purpose. In fact, it is not necessary to worry the sauce will make the rice too soft as we have tried different foods. For example, we have found the rice becomes more tasty when the sauce is absorbed by it with BBQ pork placed on the top.
Q14: How long does it take for the ec-heat to heat up?
Ans: Food needs to be thoroughly heated up before placing into the food container. Then, close the lids and connect the ec-heat to the power source immediately. As the food temperature drops , the main unit with vacuum insulation will reduce the drop of food temperature and at the same time the heating function will start, keeping food above 60°C.
